2023 grammys

Our Fave 2023 Grammys Red Carpet Looks

The 2023 Grammys had some wild moments, but those iconic makeup looks really caught our attention this year.

From gold-flaked eyelids and cobalt blue liner, to big Farrah Fawcett-esk hair, we love seeing celebs take radical style risks!

We here at Klara Cosmetics love experimenting with our makeup looks, so 2023’s red carpet was a memorable one.

Lizzo

Lizzo took over the music industry, and she knows how to take over a red carpet too. This monochromic look is defined by a gorgeous bold red applied across her lids, cheeks and lips. This super chic 1960s mod-inspired look was further enhanced by dramatic glossy curls. Lizzo’s makeup artist Alexx Mayo is the one to thank for this stunning monochrome look. We can’t get enough!

Laverne Cox

Laverne Cox is a stunner everywhere she goes, but Grammys night was real special. With eyes defined in a sultry lined look, the use of gold flakes made for such a glamorous addition to this look. Laverne’s eyeshadow matched her accessories and the gold details adorned to her dress, making for such a coordinated look by stylist Christina Joy Pacelli.

Taylor Swift

Taylor has embodied her standout Midnights album with this stunning late-night-party look. That glittery, deep blue cat-eye and bright red lip is so quintesentially Taylor Swift. Makeup mogul Pat McGrath is the genius behind this look. Perfectly styled with a glitzy blue two piece, best believe she’s still bejewelled.

Doja Cat

Doja Cat knows how to get everyone talking about her daring makeup looks, and the superstar toned it rright up for this year’s Grammys. Makeup artist Ernesto Casillas gave us everything to love. With that brown lip liner and those pamela Anderson-esque brows, these 90s vibes are getting me a little too nostalgic. BRB, gonna go shave my eyebrows off.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton is having her moment again and we are here for it. The socialite and DJ is going back to her roots with this Barbie princess vibe. She gave us soft Y2K glam with a gorgeous pink lip, smokey eyes and diamonte details. Paris’ MUA Steven Tabimba knew what he was doing. We love!

Cardi B

Cardi B is the talk of every red carpet she attends, and this year did not disappoint. She stunned with her own take on the 90s dark lip liner, but we’re so obsessed with that sharp cobalt shadow to perfectly match her dramatic electric blue Gaurav Gupta gown. Cardi B's makeup artist, Erika La' Pearl, blows us away every time.

J Lo

Queen J Lo goes back to her classic early 2000s roots with this gorgeously nostalgic look. Glowy blushed cheeks, a shimmery silver eye and light pink glossed lips, Jennifer Lopez makes it look so effortless. This lustrous makeup look, curated by Mary Phillips, was further enhanced by dimante details in JLo’s jewellery and dress.

Bebe Rexha

Bebe Rexha did a full 180 with this look and we are completely in love. Even Farrah Fawcett would be envious of that look-defining blonde blow out, and when matched with a sultry cat eye liner and hot pink Moschino gown, we can’t take how good she looks. Get me on the phone with her hairstylist pronto!

Kacey Musgraves

Our fave country star always knows how to stop the show - this aint her first rodeo. Kacey Musgraves blew us away in a soft pink feathered Valentino ensemble, tied together with a soft-glam beauty look by makeup artist Moani Lee. Soft matte pink lip with a shimmery shadow to match, we cant’ get enough of spacey kacey.

This year’s Grammys looks make it known that 90s grunge and Y2k is still here to stay. Its always exciting when creatives experiment with their looks, and we’re always drawing inspiration from our fave celebs.
